Our wild neighbours

Learning close to nature

Silver Creek’s natural surroundings sometimes bring very special visitors. Zebra, warthogs and other wildlife form part of the unique environment our learners experience around the school.

Technology

Learning with responsibility

Technology supports our High School learners in becoming independent, organised and ready for a changing world.

01

Ready to learn

Grades 8–12 bring their laptops to school each day as part of the Switched On learning programme.

02

Purposeful use

Devices are used as learning tools, helping learners build confidence, independence and responsible digital habits.

03

A focused, connected environment

Phones are not permitted at school, giving learners the space to focus on their learning, build friendships and connect with one another face to face. Headphones and earphones may be used for learning when permitted and remain the learner’s responsibility.
